The Benefits of using clean and renewable energy are endless, but why don’t we press towards building green? By building green you can live healthier, help create local jobs and save our environment at the same time. Let’s face it, environmental issues and what we need to do about it has been discussed for years. Only recently after Al Gore won the Nobel Peace Price for his movie on Global Warming did it reach the frenzy where everybody’s talking green. You see it in magazine advertisements as companies are jumping in to promote their product as eco-friendly, TV and radio commercials, books, and everywhere on the Internet. The time has come that we are finally taking a good look at fossil fuels, their impact on our environment and economy and what we can do to help. Building green does not mean you have to build a home made from mud and live only off the land in order to practice good sustainable living habits. There are thousands of ways to incorporate building green that fits into the mainstream of traditional styles that allows you to save energy in your new or remodeled home.
